In April 2025, dancer Juliet Prowse’s niece launched a biography about the dynamic and talented dancer as a love letter to her aunt. At the initial launch at the LAMTA Academy at Theatre on the Bay in Cape Town, friends and family mixed with dancers and entertainers in an evening that was a fitting celebration to Juliet the dancer.

As Juliet the author said, “Having both friends and family who have been involved in this project from the start and then dancers who were in awe of Juliet’s dancing prowess, was very heart-warming.” After the presentation with included footage of Juliet’s Las Vegas Rhapsody act, theatre producer Pieter Tourien said to Juliet, “Your aunt really was a super star and you must make sure people know that.”
Two additional launches were held at Exclusive Books Constantia (Cape Town) and Exclusive Books Hyde Park (Johannesburg) where one of the audience members reminisced about seeing Juliet perform in Johannesburg in 1977.

As Juliet the dancer was a household name in the 1960s through to the 1990s, the press have covered the launch of the book focusing on Juliet’s success as a dancer/entertainer and her love affairs with Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley. They have also covered the link between the two Juliet’s as aunt and niece and what this has meant to Juliet the author as her first book:
